From its humble beginnings as Thailand’s first Fashion Café, 16 years later Greyhound Café’s success story is more than that of a simple restaurant. Greyhound Café is the original creator of restaurant in Thailand with a clear creative concept and an emphasis on the “Total Dining Experience” which envelopes such important points as menu offering, taste of the food, atmosphere of the restaurant, service quality, as well as flora, music, and staff uniform. This is why Greyhound Café is a favorite amongst its target market of young executives and families, who have helped Greyhound Café grow to 9 branches (The Emporium, Central Chidlom, J-Avenue Thong Lor, Siam Center, La Villa Phaholyothin, The Suzuki Avenue Ratchayothin, The Crystal , The Circle Ratchapruk and Groove@Central World ). Its sister branch, Another Hound Café at Siam Paragon, has been open since 2006 and has received the prestigious award of Thailand’s Best Restaurants by Thailand Tatler magazine, brings the branch count to 9 in a span of 16 years of operations. Including its expansion internationally to Hong Kong and Beijing in China, Greyhound Café also has two branches of its new Dessert Bar called Sweet Hound.
Greyhound Café’s branches are designed in the Modern and Contemporary concept with the addition of Greyhound Café’s own individual styling. Components are mainly raw concrete, metal, and wood to give the minimalist feeling but mixed with a trendy and cool atmosphere.
Behind the concept of “Simple with a Creative Twist”, Greyhound Café has kept its Brand Styling consistent throughout its offerings, be it the raw materials used, or taste of the cuisine that is presented through the innovative and creative menu. With a generous selection of mostly Thai-Asian cuisine, Greyhound Café is a favorite for Thai’s as well as international visitors. The menu has many intriguing origins, such as some from Grandmother Tui (really!), some from late night hunger pangs that transformed available offerings into unique dishes, and some from various travels that introduced us to some delightful flavors that we’ve twisted into Greyhound Café’s own. You will see that all of Greyhound Café’s dishes are full of many wonderful stories, but in each you can rest assured that you won’t be disappointed with the taste.
